Kit and Chris have lived in the Colorado Springs area for over 40 years, and the locals consider that being practically “Native!” Having a B&B has been a lifelong dream and a work in progress for them for quite some time.
On a driving excursion up Ute Pass one fall Sunday, Kit and Chris happened upon the perfect property to make that dream come true and set out to establish Rampart Range Resort as the premier bed and breakfast to stay at when traveling to Colorado’s mountains.
Both Kit and Chris have owned and operated their own successful family retail businesses, so customer service and being hosts comes naturally. Here began their enthusiasm to invite guests into their beautiful home to relax, sleep well, and wake up to a stunning healthful breakfast. Kit’s BA in Art and Design and minor in Food Science make her a natural fit for this new venture.
In their own travels, Kit, Chris and Weasley (their wonderful Golden Doodle) had challenges finding nice accommodations that were dog friendly, so they’ve made a commitment to dog lovers everywhere to provide luxury lodging for travelers and include their best friends.
